GOLDEN SUNS TENNIS TO HOST A KIDS CLINIC ON
HOMECOMING WEEKEND

RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – Arkansas Tech Tennis Coach Abby Davis has announced that her program is conducting a Golden Suns Kids Clinic next Saturday in conjunction with Homecoming activities on the Tech campus.

The clinic, which is opened to kids ranging in age from 5-18, will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex.  The clinic’s instruction will be conducted by Tech’s tennis players.

Davis said that the cost of the kids clinic will be $20 for the first kid and $10 for each additional kid in a family and the first 75 participants in the clinic will receive a Golden Suns Tennis t-shirt.

“This will be a good way for kids to come on out and learn how to play the game and receive instruction from college tennis players,” Davis said.

Participants are asked to bring a tennis racket and a water bottle and the clinic participants will be broken up into groups based on their age.

For more information on this clinic or to preregister to reserve a t-shirt, please contact Coach Davis at (479) 356-2033 or you can e-mail her at adavis@atu.edu.
