SOFTBALL CANCELS TUESDAY'S HOME DOUBLEHEADER WITH CENTRAL BAPTIST DUE TO WET FIELD CONDITIONS

        RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – Arkansas Tech Softball has cancelled its home doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 against Central Baptist due to the forecast of more rain expected in the River Valley area Monday night.

Tech, who is 27-9 overall on the season, will now return to action on Friday, April 4 when they host Christian Brothers in a Gulf South Conference doubleheader at Chartwells Women's Sports Complex. Friday's first pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. and the doubleheader will be broadcast on the radio on KCAB (980 AM).

“With the rain we had over the weekend and the rain that is expected tonight, it wouldn't be possible for the field to dry up in time for Tuesday's doubleheader.” Golden Suns Coach Gidget Pambianchi said.
