The Golf Coaches Association of America has announced that Arkansas Tech's Nick Quast has been named to the 2005 NCAA Division II PING All-South Region Men's Golf Team.

Quast, a senior from Springdale, was one of only 11 named to the all-region team. Selections are based on season-long play.

The 2000 graduate of Berryville High School averaged 73.6 in his 24 rounds of golf in 10 tournaments during the 2004-05 golf season.

Other members of the all-South region team included Brad Conner and James Porter of North Alabama, Gavin Dear and Hoyt McGarity of Lynn (Fla.), Kevin Jones, Clark Richardson and Pier-Andre Roy of Delta State, Greg Koch of Florida Southern, Dan Walters of Rollins (Fla.) and Brian Ward of Tampa (Fla.)
