Jessica Chandler is in her second season as Arkansas Tech's NCAA Compliance Officer, along with serving as Tech's Head Women's Golf Coach. Chandler came to Tech after spending the past five years as a fitness facility manager at the University of Louisville. In addition to working at Louisville, Chandler has spent the past 10 months as a volunteer working with compliance and eligibility issues at Bellarmine University, an NCAA Division II institution in Louisville, Ken.

In her duties as the compliance officer, Chandler monitors the department's compliance with all NCAA and Gulf South Conference rules and regulations and is a resource to coaches, student-athletes, boosters and those affected or interested in the rules. In addition, Chandler is also in charge of organizing Tech's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Prior to working at Louisville and Bellarmine, Chandler spent one year (2001-02) as an interim assistant athletic director and interim assistant women's basketball coach at Hanover College in Hanover, Ind. At Hanover College, Chanlder was responsible for supervising a staff of 50 student workers, assisted the school's athletic director in daily operations of the department and athletic events. In addition to working at Hanover College, she also spent six months as an indoor track and tennis facility assistant at her alma mater, DePauw University.

Chandler, who is a native of Lexington, Ind., earned her Bachelor of Science degree in sport science from DePauw University in 2001 and earned her masters degree in sports administration from the University of Louisville in 2007. While at DePauw, Chandler played one season of basketball for the Lady Tigers.
