GAME TIMES ANNOUNCED FOR THIS WEEKEND'S NCAA D-II
SOUTH REGIONAL TOURNAMENT AT DELTA STATE

        CLEVELAND, Mississippi – On Monday, Delta State University, the host institution, announced the game times for this coming weekend’s NCAA Division II South Regional Basketball Tournament, which will be held at the Walter Sillers Coliseum on the DSU campus.

Tech, who earned the No. 2 seed in the South Region, will open the tournament on Friday, March 14 at 1 p.m. against seventh-seeded Tuskegee, the regular season and tournament champion out of the SIAC.

Other game times for Friday’s first round are No. 3 seed Tampa facing No. 6 seed Valdosta State at 3 p.m., while No. 8 seed Kentucky State will play No. 1 seed and region host Delta State at 6 p.m. and No. 4 seed Nova Southeastern will conclude the first round with an 8 p.m. contest against No. 5 seed West Georgia.

The semifinals of the tournament are scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 6 and 8 p.m., while the regional championship game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 17.

The winner of the Tech-Tuskegee game will face the winner of Tampa-Valdosta State in one of the two semifinals at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

All of Tech’s games in the NCAA South Regional will be broadcast live on the radio by KWKK (100.9 FM) with Sam Strasner and Kelly Davis on the call. In addition, the radio broadcast will be streamed on the internet at http://athletics.atu.edu.
