WONDER BOYS FALL 56-44 TO CENTRAL MISSOURI IN OPENING ROUND OF NCAA TOURNAMENT

Nick Wayman scored 12 points with six rebounds, Marshawn Arnold had six points with five rebounds, and Charles Mells totaled four points and eight rebounds as the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys (21-10, 15-5 GAC) fell 56-44 to the Central Missouri Mules (25-5) in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Tournament at the Taylor Center on Saturday afternoon.

 

WONDER BOYS EARN AT-LARGE BID TO NCAA TOURNAMENT

The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball team (21-9) will continue its season, by virtue of an at-large selection to the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship field, announced Sunday by the NCAA.

 

WONDER BOYS FALL TO HARDING IN TOURNEY SEMIFINALS

Bobby Hatchett scored 14 points with six rebounds, while Darrick Little turned in a 10-point, six-board performance off the bench, but the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys (21-9) could not overcome the red-hot shooting of the Harding Bisons (14-14), falling 83-64 to the Bisons in Saturday's semifinal game at the Great American Conference tournament.

 

WONDER BOYS ADVANCE TO GAC SEMIFINALS

Marshawn Arnold and Darrick Little both came off the bench to score a team-high 14 points, with Arnold going 8-for-8 from the charity stripe, while Bobby Hatchett had a nine-point, 11-rebound, six-assist night as the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys basketball team (21-8) advanced to the Great American Conference semifinal game with a 63-58 win over Southeastern Oklahoma on Thursday at Bruin Fieldhouse.
