WONDER BOYS HAVE MOVED WEDNESDAY'S HOME GAME WITH
THE UNIVERSITY OF OZARKS TO NEXT WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16
RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas –
For the second straight day weather has forced Arkansas
Tech Baseball to reschedule its non-conference home game
with the University of Ozarks.
The game, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday,
April 8, was moved to Wednesday, April 9 due to rain,
but now Wednesday’s game has been rescheduled for
Wednesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. at Tech Field.
“The field conditions and the call for more rain in the
area today have forced us to reschedule tonight’s game
to next Wednesday,” Wonder Boys Head Coach Billy Goss
said.
Tech, who is 18-16 overall on the season and 6-5 in the
GSC, will now have to wait to return to the diamond
until Saturday, April 12 when it opens a three-game Gulf
South Conference homestand against 21st-ranked Ouachita
Baptist (35-7 overall, 7-4 GSC). The series will get
underway with a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 2
p.m. and will conclude with a single game on Sunday at 1
p.m. In addition, Sunday’s game will serve as Senior Day
for Tech’s seven seniors.
