CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK DAY TO BE HELD SUNDAY APRIL
13TH WHEN TECH BASEBALL HOSTS OUACHITA BAPTIST
RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas –
The Phi Mu Fraternity will be sponsoring “Children’s
Miracle Network Day” at Tech Field on Sunday, April 13
as the Wonder Boys baseball team hosts Ouachita Baptist.
There will be a bake sale and donations will
be accepted. All proceeds will go to the Children’s
Miracle Network. Everyone who donates at least one
dollar will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win
a door prize.
Children's Miracle Network is an alliance
between children's hospitals and benefactors. Any money
raised for CMN goes directly to Arkansas Children's
Hospital.
"Everyone has a tie to Arkansas Children's
Hospital, and without the Children's Miracle Network,
the hospital would not be able to work the miracles that
it has. The CMN Day is a great opportunity for the
community to show support for an organization that daily
changes the lives of children," said Molly Fleming,
Philanthropy Chairperson of the Phi Mu Fraternity.
Sunday’s game will also mark the final home
game for the Wonder Boys in 2008. It will be senior day
and the first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
