MICHELLE POLLREIS NAMED TECH'S FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – Arkansas Tech has named Golden Suns junior cross country runner Michelle Pollreis (Gravette, Ark.) as this week's fifth Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the 2009-10 school year.

Pollreis earns this week's honor after finishing 14th at the Harding Stampede on Oct. 10. She helped Arkansas Tech finish second in the meet behind Harding. She has been a great runner consistently finishing 3rd on the team and has helped keep Arkansas Tech ranked 3rd in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) polls.
