Arkansas Tech sophomore Jack Garrett saved his best golf for the final round of the NCAA Division II Midwest/South Central Regional Tournament here Wednesday afternoon at the Jefferson City Country Club as he fired a two-under par 70 to end the three-day tournament in a tie for 12th place.
Arkansas Tech Athletics recently completed its season-long support of the Wounded Warrior Project by presenting the charitable organization with a check for $2,320.
Arkansas Tech sophomore Jack Garrett continued play here Tuesday in the second of three rounds of the NCAA Division II Midwest/South Central Regional Tournament held at the Jefferson City Country Club by firing a four-over par 76 to fall into a tie for 27th place overall heading into Wednesday's final round.
Arkansas Tech freshman Rebecka Surtevall concluded play here Tuesday at in the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Super Region 4 Tournament held at the Wigwam Resort by shooting a two-over par 74 in the final round and jumping 13 spots to finish in a tie for 16th place overall with a score of 228.
Following the conclusion of Monday's championship game of the inaugural Great American Conference Baseball Tournament, the league announced its 16-player All-Tournament Team and two Arkansas Tech players were named to the team selected by members of the media covering the tournament.
Arkansas Tech sophomore Jack Garrett opened up play in his first NCAA Division II Regional here on Monday afternoon by firing a one-over par 73 to stand tied for 12th place after the first round of the NCAA D-II Midwest/South Central Regional Tournament held at the Jefferson City Country Club and hosted by Lincoln [MO] University.
